Steve Ippolito’s Continuum Band

Tough Pill is a monthly creative and experimental performance series held primarily at The Government Center. Tough Pill seeks to create space for practitioners and expand the scope of the creative music and performance audience in Pittsburgh. We feature artists creating new and original work that centers improvisation, experimental communication, and moment-affirming performance. We aim to facilitate diversity on all levels, including age, ethnicity, background, performance practice, and curatorial perspective. We never want this space to feel like an exclusive club of any kind, and aim to create a safer, welcoming space for all.
