This Sunday afternoon at Bad Sauna, Nick Fagnilli performs his de/reconstructed version of Satie’s Gymnopédie No. 1 with added layers of granular synthesis and immersed environments to create an unprecedented piano experience! Listen to famous piano music you think you know, but have never heard quite like this.

Nick Fagnilli is a composer, keyboardist and music educator who has lived in Pittsburgh since 2020. He’s getting his Masters Degree in Music Education at Carnegie Mellon University while maintaining an active schedule of teaching, composing, and improvising music with a wide array of collaborators, such as friends of the Sauna GLO_TREE and multidisciplinary artist Roman Antopolsky.
